Even though the sun was shining,it was snowing huge flakes from the trees above how wonderful it is to be alive and watch the jays finding their caches of acorns....

I love walking in this wood,it is five minutes walk from my home and is a beautiful place,however,it gets super claggy in there once we get a bit of rain,that will be the end of it as I have a preferrance for being on my feet...

Nice pics, Alan. I was out at the local nature reserve at Attenborough - people might remember it was a famous match/bream venue in the 80's?

It would be great if the fish were onto the loose feed as fast as these ducks

We brought duck and swan pellets (yes, they do make them) for the big stuff, seed for the small stuff and nuts for the squirrels. Pretty cold though, and after a couple of hours I was ready to topple over.

My daughter is up in the mountains in northern italy for a few days with hubby and kiddies.
Its Livigno where its vat exempt (limited purchases).
They've filled up the car at 1eu25cents and two one litre bottles of 95% alcohol to make liminchello costing £3—50 each one bottle per adult, custon checks apply on leaving the resort!
