Anyone fancy another trip to Gold Valley?

A few have asked about the inevitable re-match: First Practice Session.

I realise that "Commercial Carping" is not everyone's cup of tea but how many of you have actually tried it?

I am more than happy to arrange another similar trip and in an effort to find more comfortable conditions, how about early October?

Specifically Saturday 6th October.

Also, a few alternative formats have been suggested, namely:

North vs South (or North vs South vs East vs West).

Teams of 2 or 3 or 4 (drawn from a hat).

A non competative "Fish-In".

Other ideas welcome, please post here.

If it is to happen, I need to know the level of interest fairly quickly so I can set the wheels in motion.

Matty C didn't stop ribbing me about it for weeks. Which was and is most unfair. We both caught exactly the same number of fish. Not my damned fault that mine was 1 oz and his was 6 lbs odd...

Claudia, please leave your pheromones at home. I can't compete with them!

Just to whet your appetite for some "proper" commercial carping, I fished the place on Tuesday and ended up with well over 40 carp for God knows how many lbs! First fish (2nd cast - they were slow to respond!) was 16lb 4oz. Also had about 30lb of proper Bream to 4lb plus 2 Crucians (well, they looked like Crucians).

As I said, it's not everyone's cup of tea but it does help to catch a few fish now and then!

Any thoughts on the format?
