Nice to see our Cliff has got his publishing lined up.
I'll have all three please Cliff (signed) handover for the readies when we meet at the 'aroldill Duckwood.
Errrr...perhaps not , some reviewers have no taste!!!
"One of the better pubs in Harold Hill. But, if you've read our reviews for this area, you'll know that isn't saying much. The Duckwood is a characterless, but non-menacing, brick boozer with a fireplace for cold days and occasional DJ nights. 'Odessa' vodka and 'Beneagles' whisky lighten the tone of an otherwise nondescript drinks range. Somehow, this place was summed up by the barmaid eating Dixy Fried Chicken... before feeding it to the dog"

'Non-threatening' ?? Blimey it has changed!
A couple of years ago I took my girl back there to show her where I grew up. We stopped off at the McDonalds on Straight Road (it used to be a pub when I lived there). She told me it was the first time she had ever been in a McD which had bouncers on the door!
