All change at Royalty Fishery

Christchurch Angling Association have signed a 20 year lease on this famous river Avon fishery.Head bailiff Andy Sloane was told by his bosses today that he is to be made redundant.Andy has been a bailiff on the fishery for 12 years.It is not know if day tickets will be sold next year.

Not good news then? What are the pros and cons? Obviously non-members will not be able to fish the most famous stretch of the Avon if they don't carry on with day tickets. But other than that?
