I couldn't decide where to post this, and it's probably too late now anyway.

My daughter took the dog around Boddington res this evening and found this:
pike.jpg

I can't quite work out what's happened, and was hoping to get hold of the bailiff, the trouble is I don't know his name so didn't want to be ringing someone without being sure that he is the current baliff; but I did find a Clattercote and Boddington news group on Faceache, which I don't do; my daughter does but would have to join up.

The peg seems to be around the 30s (a few pegs up from the anglers car park going right).

So if anyone is in the gang, can they pass on this image in case something untoward has been going on. The Boddington Classic is on tomorrow, so I won't be going there then!

Not a lot anyone can say about a dead pike, unless they saw how it died.

That was my first thought, but I can't help but think it looks odd. A fox will probably have it away tonight, so that'll be it.

Ken retired as bailiff, there's another chap doing it now and I don't know his name.

Thanks anyway.

Unfortunately there are still people and places that treat Pike as vermin. If that was a God carp someone would have been strung up by now.
