with a bit of reading on the net Kerne Bridge seems a good are to try at start of the season i will make a few trips there , but i think most of my fishing will be on either the avon or the upper thames

Matt, the forest of dean club has just re-acquired a stretch of the Wye near Ross on Wye, I think it is £10 a day, I know it's definitely £30 a year coz I just bought my ticket. PM me if you want post codes and things.

Never fished it and never had a barbel that's why I want to target them and some great advice I have had from people on here !

Forest of Dean use to have Lower Lydbrook till Wye and Usk pinched it from them. Checking out new bit. Thanks info Sags.
