Beachy Head and area

Hi to everyone.

Has anybody fished Beachy Head from the shore (particularly spinning) and also around Cuckmere Haven? Any pointers would be appreciated because as of yet I'm not getting any joy :-(

Interested in Bass mainly but anything will do at the mo!

Niel,
I used to fish the Eastbourne area a few years ago until I gave up sea fishing, try the White Horses area and around the New sovereign harbour used to be a good place for Bass but fish close in in the surf on a rising tide, used to work for me

Thanks Mel for your advice. Just a couple of things

1: Where is the white horses area?

2: Did you ever try Cuckmere Haven or heard about fishing it?

Please bare with me because I'm new down here and don't know this area to well. I've tried 3 times so far with no luck. Really need to fish it heavy for a fortnight or so but it's an hour away from where I live!
