Best shimano line for barbel fishing, any recommendations would be great. The river is The Ribble. Thanks

If you are going to limit yourself to Shimano, Invisitec is good if a little pricey.

Going to respool my reels and fancy trying a different line than the pro clear I have at the moment. I fancy trying one of the shimano technium line either the invisitec or black. Has anyone used either? I'm leaning towards the black at the moment has anyone used a black mainline? Would it stand...

I respooled my reels some 20 months ago for the 18/19 season. Normally it's been Daiwa sensor for my Tench and Bream fishing but I saw the Shimano specimen line at much the same price so bought a spool on a whim.
I had a few mid sized Tench using it and to be honest I would have no reservations using it on the Trent when out fishing for Barbel.
