Carping around Canterbury

Has anybody got any recommendations for a good lake to fish for about a 2-3 day session around the Canterbury area that is available on day ticket. I am travelling down from Leicestershire to visit someone but am planning to stay on for a while and spend some time trying the waters in the garden of England.

My mate Steve always used to go on about Chilham Mill waters for carp. Sorry...dont know any more than the fact he had some huge catches of 20's in the early 80's

Chilham Mill is now being run by Mid Kent Fisheries and is not available on a day ticket.
Sorry don't know ant day ticket waters in the immediate Canterbury Area, but further afield in
Kent you could try Mote Park at Maidstone, Brooklands Lakes at Dartford and Darenth Fisheries
in Parsonage Lane, Darenth.
