cupping in bait over a feeder

Yes it would be for me, cast more frequently if you need to build a swim.

As above plus you would be limited on how far to cast due to length of pole, The only time I did it was when I had a method feeder on a slack line down a margin.I cupped in a sloppy ground bait over the top of feeder,

Was only thinking about it because my canal is narrow, the boat channel/deepest part is probably only about 4/5 metres from the bank, was just a thought

If it came to it, you could loose feed by hand at that range, and why feeder fish ?
