As part of Thomas Turner’s ongoing series of valuation days, John Stephenson will be at Dever Springs Trout Fishery on Saturday 20th August. Situated beside the River Dever (a tributary of the River Test), it is big fish water where many 20lb plus rainbows and browns are taken each year. The fishery comprises two spring fed lakes totalling 5 acres and a 1/2 mile stretch of the River Dever.
We are there to offer a free valuation service and/or provide information relating to any tackle items; modern/retro, classic, or antique. We are also looking to buy good quality rods, reels, and accessories. So, if you wish to sell to us, all you need to do is bring your items along, agree to a deal and we will pay you there and then, it’s as easy as that! Fly, coarse, and sea fishing are all welcomed from names such as Hardy, Farlows, Sage, Orvis, Allcock, Abel, and Abu to name but a few!
We want to give thanks to our good friend Peter Cockwill who has brought together Thomas Turner and Dever Springs for this event. Peter will also be there on the day to assist and chat about fishing, so we hope you can attend! No appointment is necessary and all valuations are free.
