I'm an Armed Forces Veteran who now works for the NHS, fished on and off for years. Never weighed a fish ever, just happy to be on the bank. Catch or not I'm happy.

good evening sir and welcome back to the site.being out on the bank is what its all about.i'm glad your'e happy regardless of whether you catch or not.half of the fish i catch aren't worth weighing anyway.

Hi John, I'm just off the Avon, but one of the main bridges is being maintained / moved so some stretches are closed at the moment.

Good morning and welcome. Please do post regularly and tell us about your successes and failures on the how did you get on thread ( HDYGO) . There are worst places to be than on the bank and in the fresh air.
