I spoke on the phone to my old friend Jim Gibbinson who is now out of hospital and recuperating after a series of major operations to rid him of cancer.

The doctors tell Jim that he has been given the all-clear. It won't be long before Jim is out an at 'em. Let's all at FM wish Jim a speedy recovery and that his rod henceforth will remain permanently bent.

What a shock! I knew Jim well in the late 60's. Haven't seen or spoken to him since he moved from Essex to Kent. When you speak to him again please pass on my good wishes.
