Hi
I today tried to fish using a closed end feeder. All went Okay and I managed quite a good few casts with no disasters, but my hooklength did get a bit tangled behind the feeder - how can I prevent this?
My set up was Mainline 6lb with a 4.5lb hooklength. The feeder was attached to my mainline (the mainline pasing through the eye of the plastic strip on the feeder. A number 6 shot was placed just above the join between the mainline and the hooklength to stop the feeder sliding forward.
