Fishing the Fleet, Weymouth

Can anybody please tell me whether there are any rules governing fishing inside the Fleet at Ferrybridge, also Portland Harbour. I'm asking because the Fleet is a designated Nature Reserve. I fancy some of the Bass/Flattie action by the inlet to the Fleet from Portland Harbour if possible.

they all fish the chesil area, but from what i gather you can fish there but you cant cut across the nesting site for the birds
