I was running low on 1oz feeders so I made another four this afternoon out of lead flashing and BBQ Grill.
They store flat and because they aren't rigid they don't get snagged as often as metal cage feeders. They are a lot easier to make than galvanised mesh feeders as you can cut the mesh with scissors and there are no sharp edges to deal with. They work out a lot cheaper too. The mesh is just over a quid a sheet and you can get 20 medium sized feeders out of it. I used to weave a tie wrap around the middle to add a bit of rigidity, but in practice it wasn't needed. I don't put swivels on as my link has a swivel incorperated. Just a loop of 60lb shock leader with the knot trapped under the fold of the lead.
All those 9 feeders fit in the central compartment.
