Err, I thought we where talkin floats...float legering :confused:

Yeah I know tigger but I thought after the previous post mentioned a paternoster was a preference, I reasoned that the same principal of sensitivity would apply to all forms of lead on the bottom including float ledgering.

I should have made that clearer. I will edit the post

Yeah, your right John it does work ok on still waters, i've never used it on a river ;).

It's one way of fishing a weedy bottom without your bait being dragged down with the weight.
