FM 24hr charity Carp match/James Farrow Memorial Trophy

I post this with trepidation due to the current vogue for fish ins.

2002 Linear Oxford
2003 Selby Yorkshire
2004 Snetterton Norfolk
2005 Blue Pool nr Reading
2006 Chertsey Berkshire
2007 ??????????????

Ideally I would like to find a venue somewhere more Central or even a Northern venue to make it easier for our more Northern members to attend.
I have really appreciated the effort of people like Alan Strickland and Bryan Baron to travel to the Southerly venues of late.

So this is a plea for help to find a suitable venue.

Ideally:-

Central England ( or a little further North)
A runs water.
Big enough to hold 20-30 anglers.
As it is a charity match either free or reduced tickets.
A weekend ( although if that were possible it would be the first time)
A venue with fish ober 20lbs.

Hopefully with the number of members we have some one will be able to help.


The hard bit is the venue, the rest is relatively easy.

To be held preferably June or early to mid September.

ALTHOUGH A CARP MATCH, OPEN TO ALL WHO WISH TO SUPPORT A CHARITY EVENT.

couple of possibilities could include a return to Selby or possibly Elvington Lakes Pool Hall down Brum way is another.......

Thanks Alan, Selby I know about as I fished the match there.

Is it possible to do some research on behalf of Cakey and myself, we would really appreciate all the help we can get from yourself and other FM members, even the 'lurkers'.

Details on the waters, availability and cost would really help.

Will any more info? Can you get confirmed details re price and availability, also does it fit the bill as a runs water and is it suitable for 25-30 anglers.
