Well i have managed to do a couple of 48hr sessions out on the trent since i purchased my supabrolly and i have to say i'm realy impressed with it,the coverage and available space is second to none when it comes to brollies...and i have owned most of the major ones(trakker,nash,aqua,etcetc) at one time or another,so i am speaking from experience when i say the coverage is beyond exceptional....it is truly awsome for a brolly.
Right let's get down to the nitty gritty of performance,....both the sessions that i fished were wet and at times pretty windy to say the least....in fact in rained so hard during a thunderstorm,that the rain was bouncing a good 8inches off the roof of my car parked behind me but there was not one hint of a leak from the supabrolly.....the drainage rib sewn into the brolly did a great job of channeling the water down the sides at the front.(99.9%of the time)..instead of it just pouring straight in over the lip and soaking my kit....i also noticed that the water "beaded"and ran off the skin very quickly and efficiently...so no pooling water....and stability in the wind was realy superb.
As far as build quality goes...first impressions are exelent...the stitching looked good as did the seam tapes...and all the ribs are attached mechanicly by nut and bolt the the center hub..instead of the usual flimsy roll pins...should one ever need to be replaced..this will make life so much easier.
The ground sheet is of medium weight and seem to be of a good quality(very similar to my old ultralite one...just not as heavy duty) and velcro's into position pretty well.
So....to sum it all up....fantastic coverage....huge amount of space for a brolly...well built....good material...rigid...does what it said on the tin...and a whole lot more....also iv'e had confirmation from fox...that a wrap should be available towards the end of the year......i think this is going to be a true classic folks...fox will sell thousands of them...if first impressions hold true....without doubt...one of the best £150 i ever spent....!

). From all I've seen (and heard) so far, I'm impressed. Hopefully, that will remain the case after a fair bit of time and a few good downpours. Judging how quickly these are selling when shops actually get stock, I suspect that they've already far outstripped Fox's expectations for them. The forthcoming wrap may just make the Supa Brolly one of the best options on the market for a long stay angler that's on a water that requires a high degree of mobility.
