Goose starts the season with

Goose and myself went up the river Medway for the start of the season and after about 1 1/2 hours Goose landed a lovely 24lb mirror.
The banks were lined with bivvy boys, some had been prebaiting for 2 weeks and they all blanked. I myself only had a few skimmers and bits.

Well done Goose a great start for you, now lets see if you can top that.

Maybe philip, there were non feeding when we went so they may of been spawning like the carp I had crashing about on the far bank in front of me.
I'm hoping to get back there in the next week or so to try for one or two of the carp. I'll have a look for the barbel around there as well.
