Hi. Returned to angling after a break of over 30 years. So many changes, I mean what's a method feeder...??.
Artificial hook bait. Yep it's all very new to me.

Don't get overly confused with some of the modern developments as a decent bait, well presented, in the right area will still catch s lot of fish.

If you go back to how you fished 30 years ago you will catch just as many fish as so called modern methods.
The fish haven't change in fact in many fisheries they are now easier to catch.

Thanks guys. I am a member of a local club in Gloucestershire. We have three lakes and meadows on two rivers. Already caught carp to 15lbs and large tench roach and bream. Loving every minute of it and the members are only too happy to pass on their knowledge. My local tackle dealer are very helpful and enjoying YouTube.

Welcome. We are never too old to learn something new and using a method feeder is so easy even I can do it. Just give it a go with a feeder rod.

Youtube is stuffed with videos on just about every aspect of any method.
