I know several chaps who don't riddle GB, I still wouldn't use GB without riddling I always have done.
Years ago fishing in reservoirs and Ireland especially, we never used to riddle. I suppose riddling came from reading magazines in my case.
Since then I have always riddled.

Groud bait riddling is sorted, an issue for me is the GB I used in the late 50s to around the mid-eighties. It was always for me white crumb mixed with brown crumb, the deeper the water the more white crumb was my way. It wasn't until the eighties I took the plunge to continental groundbaits.
I thought back then continental baits were not for our fishing. A big mistake on my part, I'm a total convert now.
I never consider bread crumb now paying whatever price tackle shops charge.
