Hi,
Has anyone fished this lake just outside of Banbury?
Hadsham Farm ~ Free Range Geese/Lamb ~ Storage ~ Course Fishing ~ Christmas Trees ~ Oxfordshire ~ Banbury
I believe it's fairly newly opened but has been "maturing" for a few years!! It's in quite a nice little valley and thought it might be a nice little spot for a few late Tench.

quick review of the lake

i guess no one has then!:wh
well i went today and it's a very nice water nice pegs, boards a bit slippy though. it's sat in the bottom of a tree lined valley so looks nice at the moment with the leaves changing and all that. Just one concern though i very nearly didn't make it out of there in my van as it's all grass and quite steep, a 4x4 would be advisable.
i managed 4 carp in 4 hours average 4lb and missed few bites too,on a feeder, sensas lake and crushed hemp with corn on the hook, think i might go back in the summer and get some of the supposed tench out of there!!

well done on 4 carp in cold months i havent fished it but i might how much is it?????

it was free as the farmer couldn't be arsed to come out, he knew i was there as i asked him if it was ok to go through his sheep field to get there!!
