Hello. I've been fishing on and off all my life. As a boy lived near L and L canal. Was in it or on it most days, much to mums annoyance.
I've done some match fishing , now , being old , I am reduced to pleasure pole fishing on still waters
I live in the South, not near canals. I've had a go at the carp thing, but now prefer silvers, notably tench. Just getting into crucians a bit, but big ones don't live near me. ( Their size doesn't overly worry me, but a 2lb er would be great).
I've read some good articles on this site, and it seems just right for me, so I'm looking forward to enjoying it.
