hi my name is steve and i've been fishing for over 30 years.i'm a coarse angler and fish both stillwaters and rivers.i do prefer rivers as i feel they provide more of a challenge.my pb is a 27lb 11oz common carp caught way back in 2005.

thanks mikench.i'll let you all know how i get on monday.the river wharfe holds a good head of grayling and they're my intended target on monday.tactic will be trotting a stick down it with double maggot and also ledgered luncheon meat just in case theres any chub and barbel knocking about.
