Jigging: Yellowfin tuna, dogtooth tuna, wahoo, barracuda, GT, jacks and trevalleys, groupers, snappers, sharks, and many more.
Popping: GT, jacks and trevalleys, groupers, snappers, and many more

@ Derek: The fishing is quite excellent over here. Liveaboard is the best, you get to do all kinds of fishing, snorkelling and the whole trip can be customised. An exclusive charter for a 6 cabin aircon boat is about USD 1000-USD1200 for 6 pax including accommodation onboard and meals so its good value if you have 6 people to share. Come on over and do some serious fishing

hehehe.. Thats for 6 persons per day (exclusive charter) including accommodations onboard and meals. So a 10 day fishing charter to roam around Maldives fishing your heart out would cost USD 10k-12k for the group.
