Last season I fished a beat on the wye. It was called wye lea. A friend of mine arranged it through a tackle shop in Ross on wye.which does no longer seem to be in operation. My question is . Can you still buy a day ticket to fish .if so does any one know I how i could go about it. If my memory serves me well . The chap that run the beat was called Mike.
Thanks hope its OK to ask
Roy

Hi Roy, welcome to FM.
I was going to mention Woodys, or do what I do sometimes ,go fishing and if bailiff turns up mention you heard it was day ticket and could you purchase one,
Four options,
He may sell tickets on the bank ( some do)
He may tell you where you can buy one and let you off,
He may tell you to pack up and go and buy one.
A bailiff may not turn up.
I have had options 1,2,4 over the years.
