Binks would have to be banned - I mean he's a professional, isn't he? Stuntman in Bond movies, that's how he pays for his Hardys :D

He's a stuntman for Craig, sadly it's Wendy not Daniel :)

Binka where are you from mate? Wish I had rivers with fish like you do round my way!

I don 't know what they are like nowadays but near you is the Roding and the Lea. There always was barbel and other good fishing right in the town centre of Hertford. The Roding was good for chub etc. If Arthur Two Sheds sees this post he may be able to point you to a club to join.

Thanks for the reply John, I live in the Debden/ Loughton.

I've tried Roding few times it's such a dodgy river very low loads fallen trees etc lots of Eastern Europeans also which don't help.

Any news on the zander? :)

Went back looking a lot happier than I did. I really must learn not to stick my fingers in a zanders mouth. Teeth like bloody needles.

Somebody told me ( probably Big Dave) that their mouths or teeth contain an enzyme that acts like an anti- coagulant ......so if you do get bit the damned wound won't stop bleeding. I can certainly vouch for that. It was like an abbatoir and all from a really quite small bite... 3 perfect little puncture wounds. I swear it was pre- meditated too, the little barstid !

Anyway....get back on topic or you'll get me yellow carded !

I sincerely wish I could:D

Go fish upstream where the big girls live.

been up and down today:eek:mg:

Both my hands looked like this yesterday, and on inspection of them I could only see a couple of tiny, but deepish cuts

There you go Greenie:D

Ooooh, nasty!

I'll raise you a semi-black toe nail, caught toe of waders between some rocks whilst wading a fair few weeks ago now...

I'm awarding Brother Simon a " Highly Commended" in the Freestyle Numpty category and Brother Binka gets an honorary Lifetime Achievement award for services to the Tackle Trade and Medical suppliers.

Keep bleeding fellers.
