If we are going to have a Fish In next year I need to think about booking somewhere.

Any preference. Warks Avon or Wye.? Or both over 2 days?

Any interest?

As we've discussed Graham, Jimmy and I would be up for fishing both rivers. If the last trip was anything to go by it'll be the best trip of the year. Can't wait.

All the best for Christmas and the New Year to you and Jane. See you sometime next year.

Very much echo Roger's comments although I fancy the Wye after the last trip but I've not fished the Avon for many years. Subject to dates I'll go with the flow.

End of July would probably be best for me.

If the dates are suitable, can i tag along? Never been on a FM jolly boys before, so would not like to intrude if numbers are limited :w:)

Bit of variety at Barton, with the stretch below the weir and some slower deeper water further down. The stretch that seems to be booked the most is Fladbury and was recommended to Fruitowl by the baliff, I'll try and have a look early next year unless anyone's got any more info

Ken. Of course very welcome.

Hi Ian. My thought was Flad if avail.
I'll chat to Mr. Williams on 3rd Jan and book a stretch.....and hope there is enough interest to cover the cost.
I have in mind a very nice Wye bit also.

Thing is I can't leave bookings too long or we will be struggling that time of year.

As long as we can manage 10 of us it should be ok cost wise.

Well i'll find out what the cost of the Avon booking will be if its c 100 -150 I'll take a punt that we have 10 anglers at least to share cost.

The Wye will be around 150 but long beautiful stretch that will lend itself to trotting over shallow gravel runs from very good salmon croys....as well as normal feeder stuff...if I can get it.

I'll do a meal first night again and a brekkie morning 2.

Estimated cost 35 for two days fishing and grub.
Any surplus to same hospice charity as before.

Ideally we want 15 anglers for both days.

I'll confirm dates once I have spoken to BAA to see whats available end July.

Bit worried about booking something as not too much interest. 5 likely 3 maybes.

Btw. Probs with sign on last few days...sometimes accepts sometimes not. I can even like myself now?????

Ok. I think I will cancel plans for this due lack of interest.

Anyone who plans come this way in future glad to offer advice.

Cheers
