I bought myself a set of these yesterday, as my old Korum scales which I’ve had for years, since they first came out, have died the screen has gone blank, and is not showing anything, they’ve been good scales, and have always been accurate and reliable.

so I mentioned it in the tackle shop yesterday, and he showed me these, and they are certainly compact, smaller than the palm of my hand, yet weigh up to 66 lb if needed.
they have a zero function which saves deducting the weight of the sling or net.

and they hold the weight of the fish on the screen till you press the function button again, which will be handy for photos also, they weigh in kilos, pounds and ounces, and ounces alone for small fish.

I’ve checked them against various item and they are accurate, and they’ll fit in my fishing waistcoat pocket no problem, and with very little weight. I’m liking these already.

I bought some of these in June but can't say if they are any good... as I haven't caught anything worth weighing since then.

By me .. I like them . I use bigger scales for most fishing but when weight and compactness is at a premium (fly fishing , grayling trotting and lure fishing ) these are great . Very visible read out and very small and light. I check all my scales regularly (having fallen victim in the past to over- reading scales ) and these are spot on so far. As is unexpectedly, the tiny Little Samson I bought yonks ago . Better not ask about a well known dial scale though , treacherous horrors .

Look good...hopefully battery life is good too.

I just got a pair of Newsome scales recommended on here to compliment some Electo Samsons I have. The Samsons are brilliant ...still spot on to half an ounce after more than a year on the same battery. Downside is they are quite sizeable.

The Newsomes appear very accurate on a fresh battery. Time will tell !

Last year I bought the Korum scales you mentioned. I thought the screen display was too small. I tested the Korum scales against other more accurate scales and kitchen scales and the Korum scales weren't accurate enough. They were about 10% out, so I got a refund.

I use these too. Disappointingly accurate - they just won't let me sneak those extra ounces on! Light and easy to store, although if you're weighting a lot of heavier fish, they're not the easiest to hold comfortably if you have a good session and getting used a lot. And the hook's a little on the small side, but all surmountable problems. Just be a bad angler and you'll have no issue!

I've had mine 10 months or so and I'm still on the same battery. And it has had plenty of use in that time. I wouldn't test the waterproofing capabilities too much though. This is my third set of Korum scales. The previous two died from water ingress. I stopped taking them out in the kayak after that...

As it’s a wet day and I haven’t gone fishing, I’ve made these two items to better hold these small scales when weighing fish.
The first one is just dowel with a hook added, and the second one screws into a strong one piece landing net handle, like the crooks you can buy which are designed for the job.i still have my old korum scales so I think I’ll swap the hook at the bottom of the scales for the larger older one

Canny work, @seth49 . I'm thinking I should be able to make the same. One thing that struck me as odd, and I only just noticed it looking at the OP are the hooks circled in red. They're a lot more close than any of the real life examples I've seen, which are all (mine included) much more like the blue ones. I thought it might have been a dodgy camera angle, but they're clearly a lot more curved than the other two. I wish mine as like that!
