Hi, I am looking at puchasing the Korum Total Protection 2 Rod Quiver.
The things that I am concerned about are:

What is the weight?
Is there room enough for 2 Prodigy's with Ultegra 5500 xtb'x loaded onto them?
And my banksticks, net rolled up etc.

Thankyou, Ryan

yes the there is room for 2 prodigy's (carp or barbel) ? Plus with all the kit it's a little heavy but not to heavy but really sturdy.

Cheers Pal, yes they are Carp 2.50lb but the blanks are thin and not that much different to your average Barbel rod.

Them 2 rods, reels, landing net pole and then a bankstick will be what it is used for and occasionaly an umbrella.

No worries mate. I get 2 fox warriors and big pit reels in with room to spare . You will get all that in on the outside the brolly fits and fastens well and the side pockets hold bancksticks and landing poles with ease.

Those total protection quivers are good but....there prety heavy if walking long stretches and you might struggle getting those reels in. I use shimano 5000gte's or 5010's and even those are pretty tight. I think the bag is also a little short for 12ft rods as I've found them to be a tight squeeze . Because of the tight fit I now use some 11 ft 6inch rods. Have you considerd the smaller quiver in two or 5 rod capacity ? I have the two rod version and put cases on the reels to stop them from banging together. I do actually prefer these versions to the total protection ones for walking to quite distant swims. There also much lighter.

Thanks for your opinion it has really thrown a spanner in the works.

I was thinking about buying the regular 2 Rod quiver and attaching some tip protectors and reel pouches, but think I may need the extra protection whilst walking through bushes, trees etc.

My treks won't be miles but may be a circuit round a 0.5 to 1 acre lake a couple of times a sesh.

I am only 16 so quite fit and wouldn't really struggle so I would rather lug about the extra weight if it saves my tackle any damage.

Anyone have any pros or cons about the Roving bag(if anyone's bought one yet)
or the tackle and bait bag. Thanks

If your only walking round such a small water then really bulk and weight aren't so important. As I say you might struggle squeezing those reels in. Take one of your rods & reels into the shop and try them for size.

I'm back into fishing after a bit of a break and had to update my gear as the mice had most of the old kit, luckily i stumbled on Korum.

I have the 2 rod quiver, the 2 rod total protection holdall and the tackle and bait bag (bit of a Korum tart i know) I really can't fault any of the Korum kit that i have. I keep 2 12' Korum rods with shimano 5000's in the total protection holdall no problem at all. Like one of the other posters i use the quiver for the longer treks!

I haven't seen the roving bag yet but i'm sure it will be just as good!

Cheers, got my rods and reels this morning, the reels aen't bulky at all, and with the handles folded in they should be fine, I think I will order the Total Protection, then stick all my gear in. See what its like, if it' doesn't fit I will hav ro use it for my coarse gear.

should qualify my comment:

I fish both a small river (trotting) and a canal (waggler), it is great for carrying pretty much all of the kit. Great for a roving style
