Hi all it’s that time of year again when pike fishing starts for me have been fishing the Somerset levels for around 15 years and will be out this wknd so hopefully will upload some news on my sessions soon tight lines

I bet you needed a boat when they were underwater a year or two back. I presume the fish found their way back into the rivers afterwards?

Yes the floods ruined most of the levels for a while .some of my old spots are coming back to form now but they all require a bit of a slog to get too but no pain no gain !! A friend had a 32lb fish last wknd it was stunning! Will be out in the morning so hopefully will be a good day ...

Wow, a levels 32 would be the second biggest reported in history! Any pictured of this locally historic fish?
