Line, again, sorry?

With the river season but weeks away, I'm looking for a reel line for my pins. I've always use Daiwa Sensor but find it a bit wiry to be honest, strong, but just feel like a change.

Drennan flatfish has never really floated my boat, find it a bit thick. But do have it on one pin is 3.2, just about ok. I'm after something around 6lb for the Barbel, Chub trotting.

People rave about Pro Gold, Gardner Hydro, must float and be softish.

Thoughts please?

What colour sensor do you use? I find the clear (white) to be more wiry than the brown.

Have you considered dropping the claimed BS of your line most break well above the stated BS

I got some of that in 4lb and it was pretty dreamy to use. Very supple and it floats.

You'll waste some money and then go back to sensor......stick with your sensor .

Try Drennan supplex-floats pretty well, very limp and surprisingly robust

We've been here before,it's all personal choice,personally I wouldn't put sensor on any of my reels,for any type of fishing,many think it's marvellous??? It depends exactly what your hoping for?
