With the river season but weeks away, I'm looking for a reel line for my pins. I've always use Daiwa Sensor but find it a bit wiry to be honest, strong, but just feel like a change.

Drennan flatfish has never really floated my boat, find it a bit thick. But do have it on one pin is 3.2, just about ok. I'm after something around 6lb for the Barbel, Chub trotting.

People rave about Pro Gold, Gardner Hydro, must float and be softish.

Thoughts please?

You'll waste some money and then go back to sensor......stick with your sensor :).

We've been here before,it's all personal choice, personally I wouldn't put sensor on any of my reels, for any type of fishing, many think it's marvellous??? It depends exactly what your hoping for?
