Madfish centre pin? reel I have the opportunity to buy one of these for a very cheap price in box etc are they any good?. ?

I haven't seen one in the flesh, but have read opinions from users online ranging from "Great" to "Rubbish"! Apparently they're a re-badged version of the Matt Hayes reel that was marketed originally by Dragoncarp, so make of that what you will...They sell for £99 new but are considered by many in the know to be good value for about half that money. Chinese made, I believe.

The Matt Hayes reels had very mixed reviews,they had inconsistent quality issues,I have one,I like it,so I got lucky,others on site have had major issues,so toss a coin and take your chances...

I would have a look at the used market on the bay. Plenty of Leeds models and older for less money.
