Hi guys, I was a big carp angler for many years but now I prefer any other form of fishing. I have a large amount of very high quality and expensive boilie base mix left over which I'd like to make use of as groundbait. However, it is FAR to sticky/tacky for that and with only the slightest amount of water becomes a very dense paste which will slowly dissolve in water rather than the fluffy, crumbly texture that breaks down on the bttom which I would prefer a groundbait to have. Is there any dry ingredients I can add to the mix to help achieve this? Maybe brown crumb or maize meal etc would help?

I'd greatly appreciate any info, help or ideas from you more experienced groundbait users.

Thank you

Mix in your mix some Layers Mash. It's very cheap and will split your boilie mix. Start off adding about 30% and adjust it to suit. It's good stuff!
