I hope this event will be successful. There are thousands of good canal anglers plus a large contingent of match anglers who are becoming weary of commercial carp matches looking for something different.
If it is a success and the qualifying fixtures go regional I would certainly have a punt....

so does that mean next year you will have to be a angling trust member then?
I live in leeds and dont drive so wont be attending but its a good idea theres loads of good fishing to be had and if canals get back to 1/10th what they were years ago get rid of cormorants and stuff so clubs can stock happy days.
Dont understand what pairs are how does that work?
