Newbie to the forum

[Colorado Flyman]

Hello everyone! My name is Bill, I was born and raised in Traer, IA. After graduating H.S. I had the opportunity to move to Colorado. It is there that my love of fly fishing was sparked. My favorite type of fly fishing has to be dry fly fishing. I mainly fished for various types of trout, browns, bows, and cutty’s. I am looking forward to trying new patterns and hooking into some bass or any other native fish that Iowa may have to offer. If you have any questions about Rocky Mountain fishing feel free to ask. I am by no means an expert, but I have spent my fair share of time in the waters of some magical CO rivers.

Welcome Bill. I've never fly fished and stick to coarse fishing with a bit of good weather surf fishing. There is a specific fly fishing forum within FM which you should look at. I guess the Tackle and technique are universal with just locations and species being different.
