Has anyone fished Bean Lake at Newdigate Farms nr Dorking Surrey; planning a session there on Saturday and want to know the score.

I have found out that you cannot fish overnight on any of their 7-8 lakes. Bean lake is a toughie apparently, a specimen lake and to seek out their 45lbs, it has been known for many to come numerous days baiting up to maybe get one bite, so here is to a blank. Anyone got any better ideas?

I have fished on Jenny’s lake. Lots of carp, especially down the edge. I used maggots and kept piling them in a couple of rod lengths out on a float rig. Towards dusk they were down the edge and big ones too, literally up against the bank.
