But that was before I caught stilophobia, which is a combined fear of heights and wide open spaces. And why I now always fish in woodland pools close to car parks where there are no stiles or fences higher than 2ft 6ins. Fences any higher than that give me another phobia, it's called something like oomegooliesphobia, brought on by short legs and.........

Normally stiles have step things to help folks such as yourself with very short legs. If you are really having problems, it is probably poor technique. Try stepping off he outside of your foot, it'll give you a little extra reach.
