Normark bluefox quiver tip rod quality

I recently bought a Normark nova 11ft quiver tip rod and must admit it it came up to all expectations for a original Normark rod, I have now seen a normark bluefox 11ft quiver tip rod but was told by a friend that this is not one of the Normark original rods and is not as good as the one I have , can anyone enlighten me

I think it has a modern type screw reel fitting? If so the bluefox is not one of the original old Normarks which had sliding reel fittings. The blue fox is probably a later generation.
Its still a Normark though and must be a blooming good rod.

I wasnt aware there were Nova quiver tip rods. I have a Normark 12 foot NOVA match rod. The Novas were a budget end of the range but still excellent rods. My match rod has a very light silver fish action and I like it so much I have recently had a modern screw reel fitting adapted on it.
