Afternoon all, I have a Normark Titan 2000 match that I have had for 15 years roughly. I have probably used it 10 times max. Looking at selling to someone who would use it to it’s full potential as it is wasted in my shed. Thanks in advance :)

It is in excellent condition with some wear only on the rubber butt grip. All eyes are like new, never been abused. Photos attached.

What’s the difference between the Titan 2000 match and the Team Titan 2000?

If I’m honest I need to do some more research for the price as there a very few of these for sale so finding it hard to assess.

Thanks for the pictures, but, and don't wish to sound ignorant or rude but I have to point out to you that the rod looks to have had a fair bit of use and looks a bit tatty and un-cared for in those pics.
It could do with a good wash off if your serious about selling it. The sections need to be lying next to one another and have clear pictures taken to show that the tip section is not missing any from the tip etc.
I reckon if you put those photos up on ebay you may get 120, give or take a few quid.

Thanks for the reply, I don’t believe the pictures show it to be tatty and uncared for. There is a clear picture of the tip showing it in perfect condition. The close up pictures of the eyes show that they are in great condition and have never been stressed. The butt is worn through use, I am not the original owner of this rod, I have only used it 10 times or so I the past 15 years. I have always been more of a quiver tip angler. It is certainly worth more than £120 I know that much ;)

Apologies. Wasn’t intended to be misleading. I got it from my friend who won it in a fishing competition. It is a great rod, was really after info about them from my original post. Thanks

Are they the same ?
It is a Team Titan 2000. On the body it says Match 13’ also... I have been researching them (google) and to be honest there isn’t loads about them anymore, apart from different forum discussions. I have hardly used it to be honest, for the amount of time I’ve owned it.

As far as i'm aware the rods before the team normark 2000 and 3000 series had sliding reel bands and I have no idea what blanks they were made on.
The rods became famous when the team normark 2000s/3000s were released. The 2000s have a excellent fuji screw down reel seat (same as yours Mike). They were built on diamuri blanks which were top quality blanks and could be purchased with a 2ft extention taking them to 15ft in length.
The next series, the mkII's had the same reel seat but were all 13ft long (like your avenger) and still made on diamuri blanks, but this series were built on slimmer blanks and the tip was nothing like as easily broken as the 2000 tips.
The next series were still called the mkII but were all 13ft and had a 1ft section to lengthen them to 14ft. I have no idea what the blanks were, but they were thicker than the previous mkII series of rods.
I think the last series were made for masterline and they seemed to be a let down to anglers after having the previous incarnations.

I believe the last top match rods before the 2000's were the Norboron's,they had sliding reel fittings,I had a 12' one, which when rod started having screw fittings I had John Hutchinson fit a fuji one for me,then bought Titan 2000's and flogged the Norboron, wish I hadn't now as it is a cracking rod for good fish, even though it had a spliced tip...
