Thanks Peter, Keith.

Mikench, have done a little angling recently and enjoyed it so thought I'd come back and see if anyone I knew was still here. Fortunately Peter was and he helped me reactivate this account.

Or a shorter answer

It looks very attractive wherever it is.

Yeah it's a pretty nice bit of water. Fishing well atm according to the locals I've talked to. I've had a few evening sessions, never any longer than 4 hours. I've just used sweetcorn as bait and have had no trouble catching a handfull of tench, along with a few bream and roach.
It has carp, apparently up to about 29lbs, also grass carp, something I've never caught.
I've just bought a house in the village and the res was part of the appeal. Walk 100 or so yards and I'm on the bankside. Even better it's only £20 for the year.
