Incidentally, if anyone prefers the forum to be in a fixed width style, scroll right down to the bottom of this or any forum page and on the left of the green bar you'll see a drop-down box that says 'Default style'. Click this and change it to 'FishingMagic990'.

How about a cricket analogy? The old site was like Test Cricket, steeped in tradition, complex, fascinating, full of twists and turns, plenty of room for spin and variation. The new site is Twenty20; fast; furious, good for the big hitters but not much fun for the steady, thoughtful types?

That one probably won't work for everyone!

Well Graham, it seems like your question has stimulated the forum: there's been a lot more activity the last week or so.
