Pike information

Can anyone help I'm thinking of travelling down to Welches Dam to fish the Old Bedford & the Delf I fished them in the 70&80 for the pike some great fishing is it still as good. ??

I bet those waters are very lightly fished nowadays so the pike will be prolific going by other fenland waters. You wont know till you try. Let us know on here how you get on.

I also last fished them back in the 70/80s. Had some good days also some horrendous when the wind, rain and snow swept in. I think that some of the fields are flooded in the winter for wildfowl and fishing not allowed after November so it might be worth checking.

I'm still tring to find out what year the big house at Welches Dam was built they had just put the footing in when I was going down there and is the pub still there I think it was the Ship ??
