Planned Fish-ins/Events 2007

Hello, I am new to this site, I have read a few fish-ins reports, I really enjoy reading them and looking at the pictures they look to be great fun! Where do I find out about these fish-ins?? does FM have a calender or and events section/page. I have had a look but can not find one. I would love to take part in them and would hate to miss them, where will they be advertised.

Keith, typically a fish-in starts life as a thread on this forum and then grows rapidly! An example is:

Ribble Fish-In

Some are limited to a fixed number due to venue limitations and are usually first come first served. Keep an eye on the forums is my only advice!

The fish-ins usually just happen, you have to keep an eye out for them and you're right, they are great fun.

Some of the special ones get a mention on the home page like Pikey Pauls FM social, that one is going to be brilliant.

Hopefully we will see you and other new members at more fish-ins in the future.

Hi Keith, Welcome to the board. I'm a South East member. Most of the fish ins tend to betoo far away for me, but Tubs is planning a Southern-Fish in, somewhere in or near the home Counties. There is also a Catfish Fish in planned for July which is quite mear to me.

Claudia, I just read your profile. You should meet my wife Susie; she often outfishes the men, and frequently outfishes me. I think lady anglers have more finesse about them than men, and seem often to be able to concentrate for longer periods.

There is the catfish shindig/fish-in at the start of july...plenty of fishing plus fun and frolics supplied by the fisheries own comic and no1 bullshitter...mr shimano!!!
