Whats the best way to use the polaris stillwater No2 float for tench in a four foot deep swim??

Put it back in your box and use a more appropriate float.

The polaris is best for combatting drift or for fishing very deep venues.

I agree with Rik. 4ft is too shallow for a polaris.

The polaris really comes in to it's own where you encounter much deep water especially where it is close in or there is a steep drop off from a ledge into deep water that damages your line when quivertipping.

As for how, I like to use a patternostered groundbait feeder rig under them when fishing for bream. Much more sensitive than you would at first imagine.

Just use an ordinary float ledger(with a feeder) set up, as a 4ft drop wont effect your distance that much.

Thanks for the advice ,ill just keep normal float fishing and adjusting the depth every time.
