It's coming... ?

After looking at feeder chairs a few weeks back and then again last night I had kinda fell for the absolute 36!

I had another look this morning, put some bits in the basket to get a ballpark figure and decided to "pull the trigger " as it were.

I also got the offbox large side tray, long feeder arm, long cross arm and the triple rod support. My papa has told me to pick some other bits to go with it and he will get them as a late Christmas present! ?

Hopefully it's good. I will have to get it out on the bank and park my fat ? and see how it performs!

The long feeder arm is good, comes with snaplock fitting that can be left on the legs, as far as I know same goes for cross arms,
The ducks foot rod support will hold 13' feeder rods with ease as well as float rods,
I use mine when margin fishing as well, ideal for putting topkits in, saves taking a pole roost.
I have a couple of side trays you could have had.
One holds 6 X 1 pint bait tubs, or 2 X 3 pint or remove tubs and it's a ground bait bowl. Fully collapsible and zip around Eva cover ,making it waterproof in the rain.

You are already buying lunch at the pub as part of the bet, anyway the waterproof side tray won't be needed in summer,
I am looking forward to getting " my" wooden tackle box. ?
I have seen a few trays I like. One with a drawer that slides out from underneath and a double decker one

The drawer one isn't to bad, keep bait boxes in to keep dry and the top for sundries.the double decker one seems gimmicky to me, I would get a ventalite side tray with pram hood.
I have looked at the large Nu Fish and Preston ones with lift up lid and collapsible but seem bulky as do the non collapsible home made ones

Edit to the above,
If you are getting the PI 36 feeder chair make sure any accessories you get from PI are marked 36 on the package.
Not sure if the tray and drawer combo fit 36mm legs.

@markcw the feeder arm just arrived. How big is the chair? It's like a scaffold pole! ?
I will find out soon because that's arriving today too. Everything is apart from the side arm. (RM letting the side down)!

Is it the single extending arm with snap lock fitting. And angle adjustment ?
If so I have the same one,
I have used it on a Stealth lite chair, bit of bounce if I moved around on chair.
Used it on my Preston Inception seatbox, More secure due to the way it attached,
It will be fine on your chair. Due to larger footprint and more stable than my esp Stealth lite and the way I had to attach it.

Forget the footplate extra weight to carry and if only float or feeder fishing, your rod/feeder rest will be fine on front leg of chair. Then just either a ripple bar for rear leg, you can screw various fittings into that. I sometimes use the long ripple bar on front leg of footplate on seatbox as a rest for feeder rod, The majority of the time my footplate is left at home unless I am fishing the long pole and want to use a spray bar.
As for umbrella arm there are other brands that are more or less same style as the Preston one and cheaper.
