Bar towels are more suitable for blowing your nose on, unless you have hands like a new born baby lol.

I always use a towel when fishing. I don't use a full bath towel lol, not unless its been cut down to the sizes I want.
I push mine through my belt and have it hanging from my waist. I do this even if i'm fishing off the bank as you don't need to faff about looking for it when you need to wipe off your hands.

To buy towels from angling companies really is a waste of money imo.

Just had a nosey on ebay, put in "bar towels" and there no end of the things

I find it easier to run hands along top of leg, but I have a larger towel tucked between side tray and seatbox.

I used to fish it regularly when I lived in Warrington,
If I get chance on a trip up to Warrington I still go on it, or go for a mooch at leigh tackle and bait, or what used to be NWAC at Hindley
