Hi

Is there such a thing as a Ready Rod Bag that will hold a couple of made up rods and also has space for a net handle and banksticks?

Thanks
Matt

As above. You are spoilt for choice in truth with loads availabe in different sizes from open quivers to closed cases capable of carrying from one to three made up rods. Korum do several and they are well made and designed. It depends on which type you want and how much you are willing to spend. The Browning Stealth cases are well made and perfect for two or 3 rods plus landing net handle , brolly and bank sticks. The cheaper Black magic variants offer similar capacity.

I’ve always found the zipped sleeves more hassle than they are worth, but they do offer extra protection if that is what you need.

Near ye village of Tardebigge!!
As Mark says above Daiwa do the hard case three rod hold-all. I have a two rod hold-all which normally holds my two favourite barbel rods. I’m not sure of the model because I found it in as new condition on the bank! (I did report it on the club website but nobody came forward to claim it)

For me the best ready sleeves holdalls are the ones with the zip down the 'spine', meaning that the line has no chance of catching in the zip.
The Greys prodigy single rod ready holdall is great but bulky. Two outside pockets for umbrella and bank sticks with extra straps inside which will take another unmade rod.

I also have the drennan specialist two rod holdall, nice bit of kit but you will struggle with anything equipped with larger than 4000 sized reels.

Don't know if they still make it but the korum all-rounder was a good holdall offering the ability to take made up and unmade rods.
