Dose any one have any advice what sort of reels are best for genral float/feeder work on commercial pools.
I am currentley think of buy a shimano supper gtm or stardic but am unsure which model 3000/4000 ?.

I've got a Super GTM 4000 recommended to me by my local dealer [Mal Storey,Kidderminster, if you want a further recommendation]. It's excellent and I have no reservations; superb build quality and the Fighting Drag is a real boon.

Steve, if you prefer a fixed spool reel with a front drag take a look at the Shimano Stradic 3000 FE. Absolutely brilliant reel I think.

i got a pair of 3000gtm
just get some spare spools and of you go i use em for nearly all my fishin

You certainly can for a 4000GTM, I've got several, for the same reason as Mark.

Thanks for all the advice have just ordered a pair of supper gtm4000.
